Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

So, in South Hill for a family matter. Looking for some good Chinese buffet. Hit up YELP and this place came up. Clean good food, and good price. Plus my son kept saying this place is AWESOME.

This is an interestingly unique location. It is a fairly tiny standard Chinese buffet. If you want Chinese and are in the area, it's a great choice. The staff appear a little overworked and the strip mall and associated restaurant building are old, but it is fairly clean and the food is fine. I give it 4 of 5 stars.

I have now eaten the food from this place twice. Once I did take out and the other time I ate at the restaurant. The inside was dated, but clean. The staff is very friendly even though the lady running the fronts English isn't too spectacular, none the less I was able to order both times without a fuss. I personally base a Chinese restaurant on two factors. Their general tsos chicken and their spring/egg rolls. I can forgive so-so egg rolls, but if I get general tsos smothered in that dark red, thick sticky gooey sauce I leave and never look back . However, for New China their spring rolls were very good. Their egg rolls were not the best I've ever had, but they were fine. Their general tsos chicken was awesome. Had great flavor and a nice kick to it. As far as quality of food everything I've had has been just fine. If you are in South Hill I highly recommended it. Its just off I-85 next to Food Lion. The only reason I gave this place three stars is because they advertise they have a buffet. However in the two times I've been there it wasn't been open and no where does it state the buffet is only for certain hours/days.

Not a good sign when at noon on a Saturday and we were the only customers. Food on Buffet was covered up to keep it warm. They uncovered everything for us, but it was evident that it had been sitting for a while. Overall, the food wasn't bad. Place is small Dark and not cleaned very well. Decor looks like it hadn't been touched in a long time. I do feel for the place, just don't know how it is going to survive when they aren't getting the crowd. That seemed to be reflected in the face of the 1 Waitress/Cashier/Receptionist and the one cook. A small family did come in as we were leaving.

The food was good fresh and inexpensive. The beef and broccoli and kung po chicken is very tasty and the chicken fried rice was not bad either. I also got the hot and sour soup and it was decent although it did not have much tofu in it.
